It’s been exactly a week since I started Cruel Angel Theses, and I thought I’d take this time to acknowledge my readers. Because while 500 hits in 7 days won’t break new blog records any time soon, this is way beyond what I imagined, and I’m definitely happy at the results given the effort I’ve put in this week. That’s a projected 2,000 hits in the next 3 weeks assuming my readership doesn’t increase or decrease — although I’m pretty sure it will given the overwhelming support I’ve received so far. Thank you.

You gonna get loved tenderly.
It wasn’t like this was viral marketing week or anything, but since the new season’s previews are almost over, I should be toning down on the entries a little from this week. There’s a few more First Impression posts left — Claymore and Sola — and I’ve got an Air review scheduled along with a Touhou entry, but after it’s all over I’m afraid I can’t keep up with the daily updates. My A2 exams come in under a month, so I’ve gotta hit the books and get cracking.
I’d also like to take this time to plug Ryan’s blog, a friend of mine who started Light as a Feather yesterday. An eroge connoisseur who’s also working on a visual novel at the moment, I’m sure the posts he’s lined up will please fans far and wide if that’s your type of thing. His posts are also shorter than mine on average if that helps.
Mad props too to those who’ve helped with the traffic, especially those who added me to their blogroll; I’m looking at you guys: lolikit, Stripey of hontou ni taihen desu, Demian of Otakuism, and pKjd of Moetron. Really appreciate it. Do comment if there’s anything you want to say or feel I need improvement in (no, I’m not shortening my entries), I could do with the feedback. Thanks again!

Dude, your blog is seriously *the* single blog that’s shown the most promise in the least time. Most people take some time to get into their rhythm (for me, well… I’d say I still haven’t found it after more than a year of notdotq), and you… you seem to have caught on immediately. You have a blogroll that’s lacking in jason, posts that are lacking in stupidity, and a readership that is lacking in FYGs. Keep going man, keep going. :)

Interesting. I did not know that you had only just started this blog. It seems so together. :o
Heh. Congrats. :P

Congratulations! That’s no small feat there. It took my like three months to figure out what exactly I was doing and start posting on a daily schedule. This is indeed an interesting upcoming blog and I look forward to see what you write later.

I kinda had a rough idea of what I was going to do if I had an anime blog ever since I started reading them, so I guess that really helped. Thanks for all the feedback. (:

It’s always a good idea to know what you’re doing beforehand. in order to make sure that the time you invest when you actually get to do it isn’t wasted. Not only that, but you’d also know by yourself how to improve things.
That said, I think you’re doing a great job right now. Interesting articles and subjects to boot, and the comments you get are definitely as thought-provoking as the articles you publish.

What, you want actual criticisms? All right, they’ll come your way, only when you fuck up.
For now, give me something to think of.
